It’s pretty much confirmed, Cara Delevingne is done with modeling. At least for now. A favorite of brands like Burberry, Chanel, Topshop and Yves Saint Laurent, the high profile stunner is officially off the roster of her former agency, Storm Models, as reflected by the company’s website. Though she’s been saying and hinting that her departure would be coming, this move has somewhat of a decisive nature to it.

At 22 Delevingne has had quite the career! Walking for tons of brands, taking a selfie video on the catwalk at Giles Deacon, collaborating with everyone from Mulberry to DKNY and fronting ads for Burberry, Topshop and more in a trajectory not vastly different than fellow blonde Brit model Kate Moss. To be honest, Delevingne seems to have moved in to the house that Moss built and added on a few modernized wings.

For now at least, Delevingne seems to be focusing on acting. She has five films in post-production, has just geared up with Suicide Squad and already has more projects on the books. And while we respect her decision to separate from the industry where she’s made her name, we’re also cognizant that she’ll likely never get a full, clean divorce. Between showing up at fashion events, possibly more collaboration and likely ongoing brand ambassador positions, we’ll continue to see her crop up in even the smallest of ways. And of course at the very least she’ll continue to pop up as a style star.
