Arlenis Sosa Plays A Cali Girl-About-Town in Pretty Pastels for Air France Madame Mag (Peep The DR Beauty!)

Known for to-die-for cheekbones and a dazzling smile, Arlenis Sosa wows us most when she pops up in editorials stone-faced and decked in the season’s freshest fashion.  Her latest spread comes by way of Air France Madame Magazine, a bimonthly print pub available on airplanes.

The Dominican beauty appears in Air France‘s April/May 2012 issue as a girl-about-town in California donning fashions in spring and summer’s latest trends, like pleats, denim, and ombre, in a white to pastel color palette.  And in true Cali style, the clothes are lightweight and airy, which reinforced the paled effect of the pics to give the editorial a dreamlike quality that made us too nostalgic for sunny days.

Dominica Republic has such an array of types of beautiful black women with long limbs and great bone structure. I’m origionally from Jamaica and have travelled to many parts of the americas including brazil and its amazing how you can see how each island or country produces a slightly different kind of black that is quite unique to that place and its history.
I think Arlenis and Jourdan are gorgeous girls but its most likely-their intelligent, driven yet down to-earth personalities that have allowed their success to last.
