1. MAC Ruby Woo ($14.50 at MAC). This is the ultimate in matte red lips and though it’s quite bright, we find there is only a very small minority of people who can’t rock this retro matte. It can get very dry, so we suggest gently exfoliating your lips either with a wet toothbrush or a scrub like LUSH Lip Scrub ($8.95 at LUSHusa.com)and then applying a treatment like 3LAB’s Perfect Lips ($40 at SkinStore.com). Then use a lip pencil like MAC Cherry ($14) to perfect the shape of your lip.
