In the age of body art and self-expression, tattoo’s have only gotten bigger and more gaudy.  Cutesy butterfly tatt’s don’t cut it anymore for the ladies.  Girls have gone wild for inked-out “statement” body art now, or so it seems.  Certain celebrity girls have started a collection of tatt’s that give off a straight gangsta vibe and we wonder, are more girls going to get “tat, tat, tatted up” to keep up with the boys?

    I actually like Monica’s tattoo it has meaning. It’s Jesus and that’s who she believes in. Honestly tattoos all together are personal preference I just hate that if a black person has a large tattoo you try to label them hood and if a white person has a large one they’re edgy/rockstars… Stop it. It’s self expression. Everyone won’t like everything. I also love Amber roses tattoo

    I got to give Rihanna the price. She suprised me with each one of her tatts. Everytime when I see one of her new tatts, I have to stare to get every glimbs, tiniest details of it. They’re very unique and nicely done, except the thug one of course. The thug one deseve all thumbs down, it’s just way out of the box, too rough.

    Believe it or not, I really like Rihanna’s tattoos…well…minus the “thug life” tattoo. I adore the stars on her back that emphasized her short black hair, the “shhhh…” tat b/t her finger, the Roman numeral numbers on her shoulders ( no joke…but when her picture was released after her attack from Chris Brown, that tattoo on her shoulder was a dead give-away for me to realize that it was the REAL Rihanna) SMH

    It is amazing that so many so called edgy artists are covered in ink. The tattoo is the opposite of forward thinking. Real artists are always changing, growing, evolving. So a permanent badge of who they were last year or even last week is counter intuitive. And that is the ones with thought out and planned tats. So many people running around with random, nonsensical, non-matching scribbles all over like a retards coloring book makes me sad for their parents.
