The stiletto nail has been all the rage in nail salons across the globe for the last few years. One of the stars who put the claw-like shape on the map was style maven Rihanna. With any trend, however, it eventually subsides and something else becomes hot.

We couldn’t help but notice Rihanna opting for long, square-cut nails recently instead of her usual pointy stilettos; while also keeping them simple, with just one color.

Perhaps they are. I just cut my semi-stilettos off. They got boring really fast. But in general, people are always ready for a new trend. I think right now, nail art is in more than length.

it does seem though that whenever rihanna does some nail thing others follow suit real quick, she was doing the stiletto nails since 2008-09. but maybe she is up on trends faster who knows, cool nails though
