Fashion Week 2012 from Dakar & the Caribbean Feature Rich Fashion Against Even Richer Complexions (Photos GALORE!)

There’s New York, London, Paris, Milan, and Lagos when it comes to fashion weeks we watch.  But there is also Dakar and the West Indies, which are never to be overlooked because the designs are just as rich and diverse as the complexions of the brown beauties who take to the runways wearing them.

Dakar’s 10th annual Fashion Week took place in West Africa’s Senegal last week featuring earthy color palettes mixed with bold brights; and textiles ranging from taffeta to lace in the traditional-modern fashion fusions.
