Just So You Know: Kim Kardashian Says She Does NOT Wear Spanx! (But Hasn’t She Before???)

Now that Kim Kardashian is Kanye West‘s newest arm piece—or her ‘happily ever after’ as she puts it to Oprah—everyone has taken notice that her style has changed. In designers like Givenchy and Lanvin, Kim has been killing it in the city of lights while supporting her man during his Watch The Throne tour. However, many media outlets slammed the reality TV queen for wearing Spanx under her polka dot Stella McCartney sheer paneled dress while in Paris recently.

Kim took to her website and snapped back saying, “I wore this gorgeous polka dot Stella McCartney dress out yesterday and I’ve seen some publications saying I’m flashing my Spanx or control underwear underneath my dress, but that’s exactly how I bought it with those nude panels inside. So no Spanx here!“ She further explained that, “Stella made a full collection with these nude panels on the side, and this is how my dress came!” While it would be impressive to think that Kim’s body is so perfectly portioned that she doesn’t need the support, photos on the net showing the celeb’s flashing spanx in the past makes us wonder: why bother being upset if they were spanx?

She probably meant that she wasn’t wearing any Spanx with *that* dress, not that she never wears them. I think every woman should own some sort of shapewear. It’s not just about squeezing your body into a dress; they just help you avoid ugly bulges in form-fitting outfits. Even super thin actresses like Jessica Alba admit to wearing them.

If she wears spanx she wears spanx no big deal. I wear spanx from time to time so I don’t see why it’s such a big deal. As long as spanx aren’t being worn with your 2 piece bikini life goes on

She’s not upset that people are claiming she wears Spanxx (everyone wears it…no big deal). She’s upset that people are claiming they could see her underwear through a dress.

I think it is exactly how it sounds. She is saying she does not wear Spanx or any control underwear. Even though many people do wear Spanx or control underwear many other people don’t. Her body is achievable either because you are born this way “you naturally look this way” or you work hard to look this way. Either way, if a person is proud of their body looking this way without any control undergarment, then to say otherwise is contrary to there feeling of pride. As others have been saying, many people wear Spanx from time to time to control unwanted bulges and are open to admit this without embarrassment as a fact of life. They are saying it in a way to say that others who also wear Spanx should feel so to, but I am writing this comment to defend the people on the other side of the coin.
