A woman with a buzz cut definitely isn’t a sight you see every day. Some believe that a woman is meant to have long flowing locks, or at least some hair, to add to her overall femininity. Even though the buzz cut hairstyle is usually found on men, some of today’s top female celebrities, like Grace Jones, Erykah Badu, and Charlize Theron, have become close friends with the infamous hair clippers.

she is an actress and model and also has dated other famous people… she is a celebrity for her work. Just because someone is not in movies or a singer does not make them a non-celebrity. Models can and will be included with stars.

Not to get all philosophical, but I admire any woman who is bold and confident enough to rock this look! It truly says a lot about their character, at least to me it does. I feel so restricted by my hair and am not strong enough to chop it off, although everyday I want to because I hate dealing with it! It’s that fear of what other people will say or think, and that overwhelming thought of no longer being attractive not only to others, but to myself. I still am my hair, and these ladies are not. They’ve mastered the fact of knowing “it’s just hair.”

It ain’t natural, but it does send a message. Same for men who shave their heads, but maybe a different message.

I just donated mine to locks of love. 21″ of it and shaved the stubble off so it would grow even. The freedom is amazing and people are more supportive than I ever thought they would be! The only people who matter are the ones who support you!
