20 of the BEST Celebrity Weaves (It’s Not All Theirs But They Sure Do Own It!)

Though we know some celebs can get it tragically wrong, there are a host of them who get their weaves oh-so-right. They must have their hairstylists on speed dial and standby. Here are 20 celebs rocking some of the best weaves we've laid our eyes on...

Ciara

Girlfriend might have been dropped from her label, but that certainly never stops her from looking good.

Tyra

Ty Ty Baby seems to always get it right (aside from a few mishaps) when it comes to her weave. She'll take it out on national television for you, too.

Kelly Rowland

She had a stint of some questionable weave that had us begging her to go back to the short locks she's known for, but then this head of curls surfaced and all was right again.

Jennifer Lopez

One of the hottest heads of hair in Hollywood. The honey tones in her hair work well with her golden complexion, while the long layers suit her face shape.

Khloe Kardashian

Many celebs opt for clip-in extensions to add length or  get cool ombré hair color like Khloe without the commitment. The key to getting a look like Khloe's to look its best is in custom coloring, a great cut, and styling.

Gabrielle Union

The soft waves, premium hair, and honey undertones all suit the actress quite well.

Selena Gomez

You wouldn't be able to tell that the former Disney star and Bieber's better half wears weave if you didn't see her short one day and long the next.
Source

Katy Perry

Her extensions allow her to be short one day, long the next and she can have purple, pink, blue, or whatever color tresses her heart desires.

Rihanna

When she needs a change from her short locks, Rihanna easily transitions with weave. And it almost always looks really, really good.

Nicole Richie

She couldn't achieve that boho chic look she's famous for without the help of her long, wavy extensions.
Source

Nia Long

She could honestly have the worst weave in the world and still be one of the baddest chicks on the planet, but when Nia Long goes, well, long, she does it with some of the most gorgeous hair extensions.

Leona Lewis

The crooner's extended locks fit in well with her own tresses and it is all styled to perfection.

She sometimes steps out in questionable yaki, but this look here is gorgeous on Jessica.

Lala's hair always looks amazing. It's almost hard to tell she's wearing extensions.

Victoria Beckham

Sour face, GREAT extensions.

Not every celeb adds clip-ins for length, some do it for added thickness and volume. Love looks like she might have done just that.

  • Bwahahahahahaha

    Lala’s hair is REAL!

    • Hollywood equals enhancement

Nope, Lala most definitely wears some weave and clip ins for thickness. No big deal, they all DO!

  • Amber

La la’s hair is NOT hers all of the time. She said on her show she wears weave to her cousin on the episode where her and po were trying to find her a date.

But La La’s hair always looks really good.

I’m confused when did LaLa become a celebrity?????

  • Superwife

Where’s all the KK lovers? (crickets)……she is fake from head to toe….

I did not know that was a weave.

I wouldn’t be shocked if it turned out that Kim’s hair is in fact the realest thing on her. But, real or fake, it looks so natural and beautiful almost all the time.

        • Hollywood means Enhanced

Kim K an all of her sisters wear weave, clip extensions and lace fronts. There are very few men and women in entertainment that DO NOT wear some kind of enhancement.

  • Slim

KeKe Palmer has a lovely weave as well!

When you mix your own hair texture with a similar weave, that will always look best IMHO. I just hate when I see Beautiful Black women struggling to lay down edges that just don’t want to lay down. It’s because that’s not what your hair normally does.

Honestly, I didn’t click through everything, but I think Jennifer Lopez (who I TRULY dislike as a singer and actress) and Kelly Rowland look the best because the hair compliments them. When you’ve got high cheekbones and dark skin, i just don’t think malaysian hair is really your friend. IF you’re gonna get a weave, why not get one with African texture?

All of these women have gorgeous hair. Like makeup, a weave or hair extensions is to enhance what you already have. The idea is to try to make it look as real as your own hair. I always get compliments on mine (cut into a bob). A lot of people I know didn’t even know I had a weave until I told them. That is the idea. Sure, weaves are designed to allow you to play around with styles and color without damaging your own hair, but it still needs to look good. Again, all these women look fabulous.
