Now that fall is near, almost every trend is safe to try, so why not start with leather? Pre-fall leather looks have been big this year, but wearing leather is usually a hit or miss. You’ll either look fly like ‘Ye or like a stiff, confused mess, especially if it’s worn all at once. Instead, try wearing leather pieces with other fabric from your closet like lace, cotton, silk or denim. Pair a leather jacket with a pair of slim fit jeans and your favorite platforms, or a pleated-leather skirt with a long-sleeve lace shirt. And if you’re really daring, pair leather pants or leggings with a denim shirt and red lip. Even a nice leather bag, clutch or pair of shoes—real or faux—would be enough to keep you on trend.
Here are a few leather pieces that will make a great addition to anyone’s cold weather wardrobe.
