Signed And Sealed: Nicki Minaj To Be New ‘American Idol’ Judge (This Should Be Interesting)

For weeks rumors have be stirring about Nicki Minaj joining the panel of judges for the next season of American Idol and today it was confirmed.

Ryan Seacrest let the world know the official news this morning tweeting “It’s official, your new #IdolJudges are @MariahCarey, @NickiMinaj, @KeithUrban & @Yo_RandyJackson!… Everyone gave a heartfelt toast about being on the show after we ate last night. Cant wait to see the first contestants today. #IdolJudges”

With the picture below:

Minaj is allegedly making a cool $8 million for her one year contract, which is $10 million less than Mariah Carey. But hey, MC’s a legend. Auditions kick off Sunday (yes, today) in NYC.

I can’t believe the madness. American Idol has successfully turned itself into a circus act. Smh. Nicki is about to bring her wannabe angelic voice, completely uncalled for faces, and random sound effects onto the set wrongfully judging people who will most likely be more talented than she is. That’s the world we live in.
