About time… Donatella Versace finally jumped on the bandwagon and teamed up with Swedish fashion giant H&M to create an affordable capsule collection, in select locations starting Nov. 17. Yippie! The exclusive line will feature women’s, mens and home items, celebrating the Italian brand’s vibrant history. Ladies can look forward to studded leather dresses, colorful prints, killer heels and flamboyant costume jewelry. For the fellas, sharply tailored blazers, suits and accessories will be available.
Stella McCartney, Roberto Cavalli, Lanvin, Jimmy Choo, Karl Lagerfeld and Viktor & Rolf, all teamed up with H&M in the past, designing successful collections, some of which sold out in a single day. In addition, Donatella has whipped up a pre-spring collection for H&M that will only be sold online in select countries from Jan, 19, 2012. Versace stated in the official video announcement, “I am thrilled to be collaborating with H&M and to have the opportunity of reaching their wide audience. The collection will be quintessential Versace, perfect for H&M and Versace fans everywhere.”
