The Swedish clothing company H&M, Hennes & Mauritz, has quickly grown into the go-to multinational brand. Four years before the beginning of the economic recession the brand debuted its first collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld. Although the Karl Lagerfeld for H&M Collection created numerous controversies with the designer upset that the designs were available in plus-sizes. Stores were filled with mobs of consumers and the line sold out within an hour in most cities. Since then, H&M has created collabo lines with at least a dozen other lines to create affordable luxury items. It’s latest collaboration line: Maison Martin Margiela which hit stores earlier this month. Here’s a look at H&M collabo lines over the years.
