Old Rachael doesn’t believe in spreading the wealth….well, maybe if you were a little more generous, karma might pay you back in a nice way….karma hasn’t been to good to you lately in some ways…..

I don’t understand Rachael’s thought process…I would think that she would have better sense than thinking 10% is an appropriate tip to leave. Rach obviously has never waited tables for a living. I know a lot of poor people that tips well over the 15% minimum acceptable! Rachael is such a cheap skate!

I kinda don’t think the Rachael Ray spot is fair. The show is called $40 a day. If you are on that tight of a budget, of course tipping 10% is appropriate. If she made that comment off of the show and in no relation to the show, then she would totally deserve to be on this list.

Quintin Tarantino needs to be on that list. While in Austin he left a bullet as a tip.

I wonder how many people have ever tipped a low amount due to terrible service, the kind of service which makes you not want to go back to a restaurant. I am talking about orders majorly messed up, having to wait for drinks while see your waiter talking to another waiter for a few minutes, and hearing your waiter use inappropriate language loudly around young children (not just cussing). Then I wonder when I hear people say the ‘tip’ should be mandatory at 15% how much they would pay for the terrible service.

I am a food server and Usher just fell off my fav list. For the most part people do tip but their are a few that do not realize, that after an hour of my excellent service and no tip, I have made 2.13 an hour. Now by law, my place of business has to make up the difference, but i did not just play rent a servant for minimum wage. I would have chose fast food for that wage, which requires a lot less work. Good people still make it worth it though and I love my work place.
