In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, we thank all of our readers, colleagues and followers for all of the well wishes. The StyleBlazer team is safe. We appreciate all of your love, and send it right back to you and your loved ones in the Tri-State area.
We couldn’t sum up New York City with the usual SB Radio five song playlist. Instead, this collection takes you through the city’s five burroughs: Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, the Bronx and Staten Island. From Brooklyn’s hometown hero Jay-Z to Staten Island’s Wu-Tang Clan, and from soca to salsa, we’ve compiled a soundtrack for a melting pot of cultures and experiences. We did our best to represent the diversity of the millions through music.
You can get involved with relief efforts by donating to the Red Cross. If you’re in the area, check out a list of ways you can roll up your sleeves and help, from our brother site, HipHopWired.
We stand strong and we leave no one behind.
